Tapas & the Wines of Palmina
Chef Alex paired up with James Wadsworth
of Southern Wine & Spirits to bring together
a fun and informal night of wine tasting at
The Plantation House on April 17, 2009.
During this casual "walk-around" wine dinner,

Steve & Chrystal's Palmina Wines, including
their 2007 Botasea Rosato and their 2007
Santa Barbara County Barbera. The menu for
this dinner included a selection of savory tapas.

Levendi - A Toast to Life

Chef Alex paired up with winery partners Jim and
Gus Gianulias, of Napa Valley's Levendi Winery,
to host a wine dinner on June 28. Many know Gus
Gianulias, also, as a Maui resident who owns Lahaina

braised lamb shank.
